I am Juliet Uzoma-Aguwa, a 38year old Nigerian and an American Citizen living in the United States. I was diagnosed with stage 3c aggressive breast cancer September of 2008 within two months of my routine medical check. From my personal experience, my vision for Courage To Dare Foundation was formed, a 501 (c) (3) charitable organization, with the goal of bringing breast cancer awareness to Africans, and subsequently reducing the mortality rates and stigma caused by breast cancer among African males and females.
Courage to Dare is aimed at educating and training Africans within the Wisconsin and West African communities to increase breast cancer survival rates and provide aid to hospitals and clinics in areas with great need. I am therefore soliciting your support and partnership as we strive to improve the welfare of humanity, and thereby achieving the United States strategies for the MDGs (Millennium Development Goals)..
