Courage To Dare Foundation

Welcome to Courage to Dare Foundation

my story28

Courage To Dare is dedicated to creating advanced education and awareness about breast cancer to thousands of rural communities and individuals living in Wisconsin and West Africa. From Juliet Aguwa’s personal experience, her vision for Courage To Dare Foundation was formed. Having gone through all the stages of treatment and emerging a survivor, she realized that there were many African women and men that were not privileged with the information that I had or access to the kind of treatments that I had.

In honor of all the work, Juliet Aguwa was invited as a guest on the November 16, 2010 Oprah Winfrey Show, as an audience of individuals that the show honored for making a difference in their communities. As a surprise to the audience and the invited guests, the show ended up being Oprah Winfrey’s final “Oprah’s Favorite Things” show.
